Gateway Open Superleague & ISTD Adult Qualifier in Southend - 24th February 2018

It was another jam packed competition weekend for CDS pupils, some who attended Gateway Open in Greys Essex, and CDS Adult competitors who attended their first ISTD Qualifier of the 2018 season.

It was a great day for both groups, that went onto dance and make most their finals against some very tough competition.

Congratulations to Ian & Kirsty winning their Beginner Ballroom event and to Richard and Maria retaining their 1st place in Senior 2 Latin.

ISTD QUALIFIER - Southend 24th February 2018

It was a terrific day for our adult medallist pupils, with some competing for the first time, and sadly some missing on this occasion, went onto qain their qualifications for the Grand Finals which will be held in Blackpool in November 2018.

CDS pupils are truly are a great bunch and collectively with our fun and talented assistant teachers, made it an enjoyable day!

We know how much work goes into preparation for these qualifiers and whilst some may not have qualified on this occasion CDS attend various qualifying events through the competition year, so there is always more chances to gain your place at the finals.

Congratulation to all those who qualified, and made finals today! Go Team CDS!!
